Pictet in Geneva seeks an experienced Legal Adviser for the Investment Team (PWM). You will provide legal guidance on investment-related matters and draft client-facing documentation across private assets, hedge funds, mutual funds, derivatives and structured products.

Featuring cross-border coordination, risk assessment and collaboration with trading desks and compliance, the role demands Swiss banking law expertise and fluent bilingual communication in French and English.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Swiss bar is required.
• Experience in Swiss banking and financial law, with exposure to investment products and services.
• Strong legal analysis and drafting skills with practical, business-oriented advice.
• High sense of responsibility, discretion and professional ethics.
• Ability to work across functions with diverse stakeholders.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken French and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on investment-related matters for PWM services.
• Draft client-facing product documentation for private assets, hedge funds and derivatives.
• Input into development and review of investment products and services.
• Analyse cross-border activities and coordinate with PWM Compliance.
• Handle complex client complaints and litigation related to investment services.
• Support internal clients such as trading desks and compliance teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary changes.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and align procedures with other legal departments.
