Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate degree such as an MBA, CIIA or CFA would be an advantage.
• At least seven years’ investment advisory/management experience; client-facing experience.
• Ideally cross asset class experience with bias towards equities, derivatives, structured products and knowledge in alternative investments would be an additional asset.
• Fluency in Italian or Spanish, and English, both written and spoken; Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent technical knowledge across asset classes, investment vehicles and the mandate/product offering.
• Excellent understanding of portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management approaches.
• IT-proficient with Excel, Bloomberg, Avaloq and other front-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicating the investment platform’s strategy and solutions to CRMs, clients and prospects.
• Helping determine clients’ needs, identifying opportunities in partnership with CRMs, preparing proposals and portfolio reviews.
• Developing and servicing discretionary mandates and centralising management.
• Overseeing advisory mandates and ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategy and policy.
• Supporting the team head on various investment-related tasks.
• Regular reviews of portfolios to monitor risk controls and client constraints; executing trades and client transactions.
