You will assist with day-to-day merchandising, seasonal assortment planning, and data-driven insights to support brand and product decisions that drive global success.

You will analyze portfolios and performance, help prepare reviews, and collaborate across Buying, Marketing, Retail and Analytics. Fluency in English and a passion for sportstyle are required.

Intern Sportstyle & Young Athletes Category Management

Key Objective

Support the Senior Category Merchandiser Sportstyle & Young Athletes in the development, execution and monitoring of seasonal category strategies. Contribute to building data-driven assortments, generating category insights and supporting brand and product decisions that help drive the success of INTERSPORT's global Sportstyle & Young Athletes business.

Your Tasks

• Support the Sportstyle & Young Athletes Category Management team in day-to-day merchandising activities
• Assist in seasonal assortment planning and product range development
• Analyze brand portfolios, product performance and assortment productivity
• Prepare category reviews, performance reports and market insights
• Support sell-in and sell-out analysis using internal reporting tools and databases
• Contribute to product benchmarking and trend monitoring across key sportstyle and lifestyle brands
• Support meeting preparation, workshop coordination and presentation creation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Buying, Marketing, Retail and Data & Analytics
• Assist in maintaining category planning tools, databases and assortment frameworks
• Support project follow-up and seasonal execution

Your Profile

• University student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Marketing, Fashion Management, Retail Management or a related field
• Passion for sport, lifestyle and consumer trends
• Interest in sneakers, fashion, sportstyle brands and product assortments
• Strong analytical mindset with curiosity for understanding consumer and product performance
• Very good Excel and Microsoft Office skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus
• Comfortable working with data, systems and databases
• Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English
