Job summary

Julius Baer in Zürich seeks an Assistant to support Relationship Managers and the team with trading and operational tasks, ensuring fast, accurate responses to intermediaries and end-clients.

You will handle client requests, process orders and payments, maintain records, and promote the use of e-channels, while adhering to compliance and risk controls. This role requires excellent organisation, strong communication, and fluency in English and German, with immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environment.
• Basic understanding of products/services for EAM clients and valuation.
• Very good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the RM and team in client interaction in all respects.
• Attends to incoming calls and takes prompt action.
• Maintains and updates records of client instructions and preferences.
• Provides clients with information and data; no advice or personal opinion.
• Processes orders, trades, payments and handles client requests.
• Promotes use of Intermediaries & FO e-channels.
• Monitors maturity lists for deposits, loans and trades; actions when standard.
• Organises client meetings, logistics and document preparation.
• Supports RM in investigations and troubleshooting; cross-team collaboration.
• Adheres to compliance, legal guidelines and internal policies.
• First line of risk defence, raises concerns and escalates as needed.
