Job summary

Nestlé S.A. invites a motivated Innovation Insight Intern to join the Product Technology Centre Coffee in Orbe, Switzerland for a 6‑month internship starting January 2027 or later.

You will uncover consumer needs, cultural shifts and marketplace signals, translating them into opportunities for the future of coffee. You will work with Front-End Innovation to support strategic projects across brands like Nescafé, Starbucks and Nespresso, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of consumer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Consumer Insights, Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, Business, Innovation, Statistics or a related field.
• Experience or strong interest in consumer research, trend analysis, strategy or innovation.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information into clear insights and opportunities.
• Confident in PowerPoint and Canva; curious about generative AI; Excel and Mural are advantageous.
• Strong written, visual and verbal storytelling; fluent in English.
• Demonstrates courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning to create impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trend scouting, foresight and social listening to identify emerging consumer behaviours and future opportunities.
• Map marketplace developments to support innovation projects.
• Contribute to qualitative and quantitative consumer research, data analysis and insight generation.
• Help transform research findings into innovation territories and consumer-led concepts.
• Create clear presentations and compelling stories from complex information.
• Support workshops with internal teams and external partners.
• Support the AI-transformation journey of the team.
• Embed AI-powered approaches to accelerate innovation workflows.
