Job summary

Julius Baer seeks a Credit Risk professional within Impaired Asset Management in Zurich to assess, analyze and monitor transactions for distressed clients. You will support client discussions, develop risk-mitigating strategies, and deputize senior officers as needed.

The ideal candidate has a 3–5 year track record in recovery or workout of credit files, with strong German and English skills, and solid IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Recovery Management or Workout of Credit Files.
• Knowledge of mortgage and Lombard-related legal aspects.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Risk management of impaired loans aiming to minimize losses.
• Conduct credit and collateral analysis, develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in client meetings and discussions related to impaired loans.
• Support in reporting, project work and process improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure efficient file handling and decisions.
