Job summary

Sulzer, located in Winterthur, Switzerland, seeks a Group IT Sr. Support to provide advanced 2nd level IT support for employees regionally and at the headquarters.

You will manage Windows workstations, mobile devices, networks and core applications, both on-site and remotely, following ITIL standards. Responsibilities include incident management, collaboration with 3rd-line support and vendors, plus overseeing videoconferencing setups and IT projects.

Qualifications

• Completed IT education or equivalent.
• 2+ years in 2nd/3rd level support.
• VIP support experience is advantageous.
• ITIL or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Excellent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional 2nd level IT support on-site and remotely.
• Focus on regional support and assist other sites as needed.
• Maintain local IT infrastructure: Windows workstations, networks, servers.
• Install, configure and manage end-user devices including smartphones.
• Resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.
• Collaborate with 3rd level support, vendors and internal teams.
• Operate ITIL processes and ensure SLAs and KPIs.
• Support MS Teams and Yealink videoconferencing setups.
• Contribute to local and global IT projects and improvements.
• Onboard new staff and share IT knowledge.
• Support executives and VIP users during meetings.

About the role

The Group IT Sr. Support is responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users, resolving IT issues, and maintaining IT systems. This role works autonomously and supports non-routine technical problems. This job profile is intended for experienced professional-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.

Für unser IT Team am Standort in Winterthur suchen wir zur Unterstützung des IT Client Supports für unsere Benutzer in der Schweiz eine/n kundenorientierte/n und selbständige/n 2nd Level IT Supporter (100%).

Ihre Aufgabe

• Als erste Ansprechperson für unsere Mitarbeitenden am Hauptsitz stellen Sie einen professionellen 2nd-Level-IT-Support vor Ort und remote sicher.
• Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Betreuung Ihrer Region, wobei Sie bei Bedarf auch andere Standorte unterstützen.
• Sie sind mitverantwortlich für den stabilen und zukunftsorientierten Betrieb unserer lokalen IT-Infrastruktur und betreuen Windows-Arbeitsplätze, mobile Endgeräte, Netzwerke, Server sowie zahlreiche unternehmensspezifische Anwendungen und Systeme.
• Sie installieren, konfigurieren und verwalten Endgeräte inklusive Smartphones und Zubehör.
• Sie analysieren und lösen Incidents sowie Service Requests selbstständig und zielgerichtet mithilfe moderner IT-Service-Management-Tools.
• Sie arbeiten eng mit dem 3rd-Level-Support, externen Dienstleistern und internen Fachbereichen zusammen, um nachhaltige Lösungen sicherzustellen.
• Sie arbeiten nach ITIL-Standards und gewährleisten die Einhaltung definierter Service Levels (SLAs) sowie relevanter Qualitätskennzahlen (KPIs).
• Sie planen, koordinieren und betreuen moderne Videokonferenzlösungen mit Microsoft Teams und Yealink-Systemen.
• Sie wirken aktiv an spannenden lokalen und globalen IT-Projekten mit und bringen Ihre Ideen zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer IT-Landschaft ein.
• Sie begleiten neue Mitarbeitende beim Einstieg und teilen Ihr IT-Know-how im Arbeitsalltag.
• Sie bieten unseren Führungskräften und VIP-Anwendern einen erstklassigen IT-Service und unterstützen bei wichtigen Meetings, Management-Veranstaltungen und Townhalls.

Ihr Profil

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich 2nd‑und/oder 3rd‑Level‑Support
• Berufserfahrung im VIP-Support von Vorteil (vorzugsweise in einer vergleichbaren Unternehmensstruktur)
• ITIL- bzw. Microsoft-Zertifizierungen (Server / Client / Netzwerk) von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Ausgeprägte Kunden- und Dienstleistungsorientierung
• Analytische, strukturierte und problemlösungsorientierte Herangehensweise Eigenständiges, aber auch teamorientiertes Arbeiten
• Flexibilität in Bezug auf Aufgabenbereiche und Arbeitszeiten im Schichtmodell (07:00 bis 16:00 Uhr oder 09:00 bis 18:00 Uhr) sowie die Bereitschaft, gelegentlich Dienstreisen zu übernehmen.
• Erfahrung in der Betreuung und Begleitung von Auszubildenden von Vorteil
