Qualifikationen

• University degree in law, admission to the bar and qualification as a European Patent Attorney / Lawyer.
• Advanced degree in chemistry or related field, preferably a doctoral degree.
• Significant experience as a patent attorney in pharma/biotech.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic IP counsel to R&D on invention protection and portfolio development.
• Build and manage patent portfolios across NME, processes, platforms, and clinical developments.
• Render opinions on patentability, validity, and freedom to operate; develop IP strategies.
• Apply knowledge of national and international patent law to shape strategy.
• Communicate with colleagues across legal, IP, and R&D orgs.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and global patent function; diverse collaboration.
• Support transactional matters with contract drafting and negotiation.
