Job summary

Sonova Group in Switzerland is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer - Charging Solutions to verify charging systems for hearing devices, blending hardware and embedded software within a cross-functional team.

You will develop and maintain automated tests using Python, build test setups with Raspberry Pi and Arduino, and analyze data to demonstrate robust product performance across development stages. The role supports a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in verification and testing of electronic systems, ideally hardware + embedded firmware.
• Strong Python skills for test automation and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with MCU-based test platforms (Raspberry Pi/Arduino).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electronics and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve test setups for verification of charging solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated verification frameworks and test scripts (Python focus).
• Plan experiments to assess charging behavior, power management and safety.
• Translate requirements into test conditions, cases and procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and system engineers to drive corrective actions.
