Job summary

BRUSA Elektronik AG in Buchs (CH) is seeking a Software Engineer – Diagnostics to push forward diagnostic functions for the inductive charging platform. You will translate requirements into concrete software features and coordinate with the Software Architect and other specialists.

The role requires a degree in a technical field, extensive automotive software experience, and hands-on Aurix and AUTOSAR knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field as stated.
• 7+ years in automotive software; 3+ years in diagnostics.
• Hands-on Aurix experience; knowledge of STM32 is a plus.
• Strong AUTOSAR diagnostic components and protocols knowledge.
• Analytical, structured, proactive and team‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic functions and define interfaces of the inductive charging system.
• Evaluate impact on software/system architecture, coordinate with Software Architect.
• Define and maintain system/software requirements and verification criteria.
• Ensure ASPICE and ISO/IEC compliance for charging and safety standards.
• Develop new diagnostic features with roadmaps aligned to management.
• Support testing, analyze results, and coordinate with suppliers for readiness.
