Job summary

Sonova Group is looking for a Hardware Verification Engineer for Charging Solutions to ensure performance, safety and reliability of charging systems for hearing devices. You will design test setups, develop Python-based verification, and collaborate with hardware, embedded software and system engineers globally.

The role requires a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering and about 3–6 years of verification experience, with hands-on work on Raspberry Pi or Arduino platforms.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years in verification and testing of electronic systems.
• Strong Python skills for test automation and data analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with MCU-based platforms (Raspberry Pi/Arduino).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, calibrate and improve test setups for verification of charging solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated verification frameworks and test scripts (Python focus).
• Plan and conduct experiments to assess charging behavior, power mgmt, performance and safety under real usage.
• Translate system requirements and risk analyses into test conditions, cases and procedures.
• Investigate test failures, analyze data, identify root causes and drive fixes with dev teams.
• Document test and measurement data to provide evidence of performance and verification results.
