The 9–12 month internship emphasizes development of system models, pre/post processing, and cross-disciplinary teamwork. English fluency and proactive initiative are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled student (preferably Master) or graduate in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of simulations for mechanical and electrical engineering applications.
• Knowledge of mechanics and material strength; practical experience with finite element tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Modelica language and Dymola is advantageous.
• Strong programming skills and interest in Python.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Support development of SF6-free high-voltage circuit breakers through simulations.
• Perform system simulations of circuit breakers to support design decisions.
• Pre and post processing of simulations models and results.
• Test data analysis and preparation of the simulation input files.
• Use and further develop internally established simulation tools.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams in circuit breaker development.
