Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and organized HR Intern to support the HR team with day-to-day HR administration and general office coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience across HR operations in an international and fast-paced environment.
The role will involve supporting employee administration, onboarding and offboarding, HR documentation, recruitment coordination, and general administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files and HR databases.
- Assist with preparing employment-related documents, letters and other HR documentation.
- Support the HR team with onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist with employee documentation and follow-ups throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of HR reports and trackers.
- Assist with leave, absence and attendance records.
- Support the HR team with employee queries and day-to-day HR requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR documentation.
Recruitment Support
- Assist with posting job vacancies and maintaining recruitment trackers.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Support the HR team with CV screening and candidate administration.
- Assist with preparing documentation for new joiners.
Swiss HR & Employee Administration
- Support the team with work permit, residence permit and other employee-related administrative processes.
- Assist with employee registrations, renewals and other documentation under the guidance of the HR team.
- Support coordination with external HR, payroll, insurance and other service providers where required.
General Administration
- Support general office administration and HR-related coordination.
- Assist with organizing meetings, employee events and internal activities.
- Help manage office supplies, documentation and other administrative requirements.
- Provide support on ad-hoc HR and administrative projects as required.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Previous internship or administrative experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working with confidential information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian and/or German is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
