Job summary

Rothschild & Co is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern for their Zurich HR team. You will collaborate with experienced HR professionals on daily activities and real-world projects within a multinational setting.

The internship runs for nine to twelve months, with a mid-January 2027 start date, and offers exposure across the Wealth Management division. You will perform tasks across the employee lifecycle, support onboarding, internal communications, and reporting, and collaborate with HR partners

Qualifications

• Student in business administration or similar.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Fluent communication in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities across the employee lifecycle such as coordinating interviews, onboarding, transfers and departures.
• Draft general correspondence (work certificates, confirmations, training agreements).
• Manage work permit requests and track temporary employees and visitors from abroad with authorities follow-up.
• Provide administrative support: update Org Charts, HR Intranet, process shared mailbox, handle invoices, organise Welcome Day.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners in Zurich and Geneva across Wealth Management tasks.
• Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects with the HR Team.
