Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a proactive Employee Relations Advisor to support a positive and inclusive work environment. The role acts as the main contact for employee relations matters and provides HR Operations expertise during a key HR transformation phase.

Responsibilities include conflict resolution, case analysis for upskilling managers, coaching, and ensuring smooth HR processes in collaboration with HR Operations and the HR BP. 12-month fixed-term contract.

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive Employee Relations Advisor to support a positive and inclusive work environment while serving as the main point of contact for employee relations matters. The role will also provide HR Operations expertise, ensuring seamless processes and effective knowledge transfer during a key phase of HR transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Workplace conflict resolution and mediation: provide guidance, support, or elevate issues as appropriate.
• Analyse ER cases to identify learning opportunities and deliver targeted upskilling to managers.
• Offer coaching and people insights to managers.
• Act as the subject matter expert for HR operations activities.
• Ensure smooth running of HR processes and effective handover of key activities.
• Collaborate with HR Operations and Shared Service Centre to continually improve processes and service delivery.
• Work closely with the HR BP to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations.
• Provide HR reports with key insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Employee Relations, conflict resolution, or mediation.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, structured, and solution-oriented working style; high level of independence.
• Fluent in French with professional proficiency in English, preferably fluent Italien and/or German.
• Experience working in matrix organizations is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
