Job summary

Analytical Laboratory Assistant is sought for an international company in Stein, Switzerland. This 12-month temporary assignment focuses on delivering analytical service projects using HPLC and related techniques, including method development, analysis and reporting to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in HPLC method development/validation, a chemistry degree, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team in a global agribusiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry with practical HPLC experience or a Master's Degree with practical HPLC experience.
• Hands-on experience in operating modern UPLC/HPLC systems and method development/validation.
• Experience with scripting in R or Python and basic statistical analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytical service projects using HPLC and other techniques; develop methods and report results.
• Plan and carry out analytical service operations for multiple projects.
• Maintain safe operation of analytical equipment and ensure traceability of data.
