Job summary

The Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) in Lugano is seeking a Storage Engineer to design, implement and operate HPC storage in a multi-tenant environment. You will contribute to scalable storage for climate and earth observation workloads, and work with partners like ETH Zurich and international collaborators.

Candidates should have strong Linux administration, storage technologies, and automation skills.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and storage concepts.
• Experience with multi-tenant HPC storage environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate HPC storage services in multi-tenant infra.
• Contribute to documentation, maintenance and system improvements.
• Collaborate with ETH Zurich/partners on storage solutions.
