Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a high voltage lab engineer to join a dynamic team of scientists and technicians.

You will test innovative ideas, implement new measurement methods and maintain a safe testing environment for cutting-edge high voltage technology. You will participate in planning and executing HV tests, collaborate with research staff, and contribute to defining safe testing practices with local HSE partners and teams.

Qualifications

Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH).
Experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods.
Knowledge of LabView, MATLAB or Python is welcome.
Data analysis skills are a plus.
Past experience in high voltage lab is advantageous.
Conversational English is required, good knowledge of German language is very appreciated.

Responsibilities

Run and maintain state-of-the-art high voltage labs.
Participate actively in planning, preparation and execution of high voltage tests.
Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research.
Contribute to the definition of safe testing practices in the lab with support of local HSE partners and research team.
Interact with partners in Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units.
