Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a high voltage lab engineer to join a dynamic team of scientists and technicians.

You will test innovative ideas, implement new measurement methods and maintain a safe testing environment for cutting-edge high voltage technology. You will participate in planning and executing HV tests, collaborate with research staff, and contribute to defining safe testing practices with local HSE partners and teams.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH).
• Experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods.
• Knowledge of LabView, MATLAB or Python is welcome.
• Data analysis skills are a plus.
• Past experience in high voltage lab is advantageous.
• Conversational English is required, good knowledge of German language is very appreciated.

What You Will Bring

• Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH)
• Proven experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods
• Knowledge of lab integrated programming using LabView, Matlab or Python is very much welcome
• Skills in data analysis are a plus.
• Past experience in high voltage lab is advantageous.
• Conversational level in English is required, good knowledge of German language is very appreciated.
