Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Switzerland is seeking an Electrical technician for our research high voltage lab. You will join a dynamic team of scientists and technicians shaping the future of high voltage technology and energy solutions.

Responsibilities include running and maintaining state-of-the-art HV labs, planning and executing HV tests, and collaborating with researchers. You will contribute to safe testing practices and interact with adjacent Hitachi Energy labs and business units.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH).
• Lab work experience with experimental setup and advanced measurement methods.
• Knowledge of lab programming with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python.
• English conversational; German knowledge appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain state-of-the-art high voltage labs.
• Plan, prepare, and execute high voltage tests.
• Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research.
• Contribute to the definition of safe testing practices in the lab during all phases of the experiments.
• Interact with partners in Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units.
