Job summary

Arabelle Solutions Switzerland is seeking a Site Manager HEX to lead complex outage events for Heat Exchanger in nuclear plants. You will plan, mobilize, and execute outages with cross-functional teams, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control.

Requirements include a related bachelor’s degree, Certified Welding Specialist, 4+ years field service in power generation maintenance, and fluent German with good English. Travel up to 30% and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience in power generation.
Certified Welding Specialist qualification required.
Minimum 4 years field service experience in power generation maintenance including outage planning and execution.
Fluent in German with good command of English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Manage complex outage event preparation from start to finish (planned/emergent/upgrade).
Develop outage schedules, plan labor/tooling/costs, and manage customer meetings.
Create pre-approval documents and inspect installation materials.
Ensure proper execution documentation including procedures and reports.
Oversee onsite execution with large teams; monitor costs, productivity, and risk.
Improve vendor/sourcing cost, on-time delivery, and outage productivity.
Lead project quotation development and site condition checks; assess safety and risks.
Coordinate IT applications for labor, tooling, and vendor planning.
Respond to forced outages; be on site as needed to restore units.
Support customer staff with technical/project communications.
Improve existing processes and simplify workflows.
Site HEX management primarily in Switzerland with flexibility to operate across Europe.
