Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd in Zurich-Oerlikon seeks a Project Manager Site Service GCB to lead on-site commissioning and maintenance of GCB and GIS systems. You will coordinate field service teams, ensure safety and quality, manage documentation, and support billing.

The role requires technical apprenticeship and English plus German, with PM interest/certification beneficial; SAP and MS Office familiarity helpful. This position offers full-time, on-site work in Switzerland with the Hitachi Energy

Qualifications

Technically oriented apprenticeship or vocational training completed.
Initial experience in project coordination, service, installation or commissioning.
Interest in project management; PM training or certification is a plus.
Experience with switchgear, power systems, field service or industrial equipment is beneficial.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a service mindset.
Business fluency in English and good German.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support on-site commissioning and maintenance activities worldwide.
Serve as primary contact for customers and internal teams throughout projects.
Plan installations, coordinate resources, and track progress and costs.
Ensure health, safety and quality standards and mitigate project risks.
Maintain project documentation and support billing of services.
