Job summary

UBP - Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva seeks a manager to lead the securities transfer processing team across asset classes, including private equities and hedge funds. You will mentor staff, oversee timely and accurate processing, and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet client expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, fluent French and English, and Swiss residence. You will drive risk-aware decisions, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations in a high‑stakes

Responsibilities

• Cross analysis of custodian data and market feeds (e.g., custodian swifts, prospectus, contract notes, Bloomberg, Telekurs).
• Control reconciliation of holdings and entitlements; manage pending positions.
• Manage and control securities transfer instructions from Wealth Management and external parties (transfer IN/OUT/internal and funds registration).
• Oversee transmission of deposits to correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and ensure safe delivery and acceptance.
• Follow-up of topics and issues over the lifecycle of securities transfer activities.
• Present strategic opportunities to mitigate risk; maintain KPI/KRI indices; ensure regulatory updates are reflected in procedures.

• Support and be able to treat all processing covering the management of activities relating to Securities Transfer changes which will affect all kind of assets (including alternative assets such as mutual funds, Private Equities and Hedge Funds).


• Manage and oversee a team processing in light of the funds activities including private equities.


• Be able to work closely with our key players to meet our customers' expectations.


• Be responsible to lead, mentor staff and provide oversight to ensure events are processed timely and accurately. Be able to work closely with our key players to meet our customers' expectations.

Mission

Management Responsibilities

• Maintain our KPI/KRI indices internal to our business with a view to mitigating the risk associated with the securities transfer activities.


• Be responsible for its activity by working closely with the various divisions of the bank in order to be up to date with the various regulations impacting our securities transfer activity.


• Ensure department procedures are adhered to, review and maintain client task list and related SLA's.


• Communicate effectively and efficiently across departments, with staff, with senior management.


• Lead staff meetings, participate on project management and industry events.


• Ensure daily follow up in respect of pending issues and take appropriate measures for resolution.

Daily Business Responsibilities

• Crossed analysis of the received information: custodian's swifts, agent prospectus, contract notes and financial providers such as: Bloomberg, Telekurs.


• Perform control of reconciliation of holdings, entitlements determination, pending positions management.


• Be able to manage and control securities transfer instructions received from Wealth Management and external parties (transfer IN/OUT/Internal and funds registration process).


• Control transmission of the deposits to our correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and control of their safe delivery and acceptance.


• Follow-up of the topics and issues over the lifecycle of the securities transfer activities.
