Zusammenfassung

UNION BANCAIRE PRIVÉE, UBP SA in Geneva seeks an experienced Operations professional to book derivatives transactions and monitor daily production. You will support the team, resolve issues, and ensure accurate recording of trades with brokers and clients.

The role requires 2–5 years in an operational team, a bachelor degree, and solid knowledge of listed and OTC derivatives, clearing rules, and margining. French and English at B1 are required.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience in an operational team.
• Bachelor degree minimum.
• Derivatives instruments: options, futures, and OTC derivatives (FX options, accumulators/decumulators, CDS, IRS, CCS, swaptions).
• Knowledge of clearing rules.
• Understanding margining rules (initial, variation, spread).
• Awareness of product risks.
• Languages: French and English at least B1 (spoken and written).

Mission

• Control production on a daily basis, proactively track potential issues before they occur.


• Support team members in their daily activities, solve issues.

Main responsibilities

• Monitoring of operations from Brokers.


• Recording of transactions after matching internal orders: private clients and own account.


• Clearing of transactions, control and monitoring of opened positions.


• Contact with our managers, our traders and with our counterparties / brokers.


• Exercise and assignment.


• Processing of transactions on the OTC market confirmation and payment follow up.


• Monitoring margin call and payment/receipt linked to it.


• Corporate action initiation and follow up.


• Make sure you have procedures to carry out operations as directed by the bank.


• Respect processes and their implementation in relation to operational requirements and volumes.

Your Profile

• An experience into an operational team of 2 to 5 years


• Education : Bachelor degree minimum


• Specific Competencies


• Financial instruments derivatives instruments ( ); their features and specific characteristics especially : Listed Options & Futures, OTC derivatives (FX options, Accumulators/Decumulators and OTC swaps (CDS, IRS, CCS and swaptions).


• Knowledge in clearing rules.


• Margining rules (initial margin, additional variation, spread margin, etc).


• Product risks


• Languages : B1 in both French and English (spoken and written)
