Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Head of Risk based in Switzerland to lead a proactive risk function for a growing fintech operating across cryptocurrency and traditional payments. You will report to the CEO and help shape risk strategy, governance, and resilience while balancing innovation with regulatory compliance.

You will oversee enterprise, operational, financial, and regulatory risk across consumer products and B2B services, collaborating with finance, product, and compliance teams to embed

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of risk management experience in financial services or fintech.
• Direct experience in regulated fintech, EMI/PSP, or crypto businesses.
• Hands-on regulatory risk knowledge (DORA, MiCA, PSD2, FCA resilience) preferred.
• End-to-end risk ownership including controls, decisions and outcomes.
• Strong business-facing communication translating risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise risk framework with three-lines-of-defence.
• Deliver risk dashboards and governance reporting for CEO and board.
• Lead regulatory and ICT risk management, including DORA compliance.
• Establish risk management for licensing and expansion across Europe/UK.
• Design onboarding and monitoring frameworks for partners and counterparties.
• Monitor crypto and liquidity risk in partnership with Finance.
• Oversee business continuity, incident reporting, and vendor risk.
• Set risk appetite and thresholds across products and geographies.
