Bank J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Head of Reconciliation to lead the reconciliation framework with custodians and cash correspondents, ensuring integrity of all transactions and swift resolution of discrepancies.

Build and guide a high-performing team, drive automation, and strengthen internal controls to safeguard operational resilience. The role involves steering the reconciliation function across the Bank, collaborating with risk and audit, and owning the delivery of high-quality reconciliation

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling, or completed banking education.
• 5-7 years of practical experience in Operations, Backoffice or Accounting within Financial Services.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Fluency in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Reconciliation team, including resource planning and coaching.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cash and securities reconciliation processes.
• Ensure timely resolution of cash and security differences in collaboration with other departments.
• Drive reconciliation strategy through process improvements and internal controls.
• Monitor outstanding items and produce weekly management reports.
