The World Economic Forum in Geneva seeks a Lead for Quantum Technologies & Convergence to drive programme management and community-building across the Quantum Economy Network and Technology Convergence initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, engage partners from industry, government, academia and civil society, and help shape the Forum’s strategy on AI, quantum, robotics, space, climate and bio economy.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a cross-cutting field with preference to quantum technology or advanced computing.
• 8-10 years’ work experience in technology-related domains.
• Knowledge of Quantum Technologies and emerging technologies, and curiosity for systems transformations.
• Deep understanding of technology strategy, policy and impact on value chains.
• Experience designing, managing and facilitating communities, workshops, and meetings.
• Proven project management and coordination skills; ability to synthesize viewpoints.

Aufgaben

• Manage and lead workstreams for the Quantum Economy Network and Technology Convergence initiatives with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Support design and execution of quantum and AI activities with cross-industry exchanges.
• Coordinate Project Fellows by providing clarity, facilitating communication, tracking progress.
• Support the development of digital platforms: Quantum Applications Hub and Technology Convergence AI-Dashboard.
• Engage existing and prospective Forum Partners in Quantum Economy Network and Technology Convergence.
• Build and curate multi-stakeholder communities across business, governments and civil society.
• Execute opportunities for the Forum’s global network of independent national and thematic Fourth Industrial Revolution Centres (C4IR Centres) to contribute to initiatives.
• Collaborate with Forum Leads on AI, Data, Robotics, Space, Biology, and Climate Technology; strengthen in-house collaboration.
• Collaborate with Centre for Frontier Technology and Innovation leads to ensure synergies.
• Build thought leadership on quantum technologies and technology convergence.
• Lead content, reports, policy papers and blogs from concept to delivery.
• Drive public awareness on quantum technology and convergence internally and externally.
• Keep abreast of and analyse implications of global/regional technology advancements and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to inform global collaboration, industry adoption and policy updates.
• Design workshops, roundtables, and high-impact community events.
