Zusammenfassung

Qualifikationen

  • Relevant experience in programme development, event programming, partner engagement, business development, account management or a related role.
  • Experience working across partner development, account management or industry-facing teams, with an understanding of acquisition, engagement and retention responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting senior-level meetings, sessions or convenings and preparing clear materials for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using pipeline, engagement or relationship information to identify risks, opportunities and next actions is helpful.
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Salesforce or another customer relationship management system is helpful.

Strong and sustained relationships with business partners are central to the Centre’s ability to grow its work, deliver meaningful programmes and maintain long-term impact. The role brings together two core areas: Programming and Operations, and Partner Development (sales) and Engagement (account management). It will support major Forum meetings and Centre-led convenings while serving as the Centre-side liaison with Forum teams responsible for partner development and industry engagement.

Reporting line and how is this role embedded in the wider team?

Reporting to the Lead, Operations and Strategy, the role sits within the Centre for Health and Healthcare and will be based in Geneva. It will work closely with the Centre Head, Partner Development, Industry and account management colleagues, initiative and project leads, and Forum teams responsible for programming and major meetings.

What will you be responsible for?
Programming and Operations

Programming and Operations Support major Centre programming across the year, including priority Forum meetings and Centre-led convenings such as the Annual Meeting and the Annual Health Roundtable, from planning through delivery and follow-up. Maintain clear visibility across assigned programming activity, including key dates, session concepts, review points, speaker and participant needs, decisions and delivery risks. Support the development of session objectives, formats, agendas, speaker and participant planning, briefing materials and other programme documents. Work with Forum programming, events, participant engagement, communications and relevant project teams on assigned programming deliverables and help resolve issues that could affect readiness or delivery. Maintain the practical tools, Salesforce information and materials needed to support assigned programming and partner-facing activity.

Centre Partner and Engagement

Serve as the Centre-side liaison with Partner Development Team, maintaining visibility on priority prospects and partnership opportunities and ensuring relevant Centre stakeholders understand acquisition status, next steps and required follow-up. Work closely with Industry and account management colleagues as the Centre-side point of connection for key business partners, helping ensure newly assigned partners receive a clear introduction to the Centre and are connected to relevant initiatives and programming. Monitor partner engagement across Centre initiatives and programming, using available engagement information to identify limited, declining or one-off participation and provide regular visibility to Centre leadership on engagement gaps, retention risks and actions requiring attention. Support retention and engagement planning by identifying opportunities to deepen partner involvement and coordinating Centre follow-up in close collaboration with the teams that own the partner relationship.

What core knowledge, skills and experience are we looking to add to our team?
  • Domain Knowledge and Experience Relevant experience in programme development, event programming, partner engagement, business development, account management or a related role.
  • Experience working across partner development, account management or industry-facing teams, with an understanding of how acquisition, engagement and retention responsibilities connect across functions.
  • Experience supporting senior-level meetings, sessions or convenings and preparing clear materials for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using pipeline, engagement or relationship information to identify risks, opportunities and next actions is helpful.
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Salesforce or another customer relationship management system is helpful.
  • An interest in global health and healthcare.
  • Direct experience in the field is welcome but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Good judgment, discretion and the confidence to raise concerns early when engagement is weakening, priorities change or information is incomplete.
