The World Economic Forum's Centre for Health and Healthcare in Geneva is seeking a proactive Operations and Partner Engagement professional to support year‑round programming and major Forum meetings.
You will liaise with Partner Development and Industry teams, manage session objectives, formats and briefing materials, and keep Salesforce and other tools up to date to ensure timely delivery and active partner engagement.
The World Economic Forum is an independent, not-for-profit organization, headquartered in Geneva, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Beijing, and Tokyo. We are the trusted platform for public-private cooperation where leaders come together to understand global challenges and drive action across sectors and regions. We create spaces where different stakeholders engage openly, build trust, and collaborate to help solve shared global challenges. Context and why we are recruiting? The Centre for Health and Healthcare brings together leaders from business, government, academia and civil society to improve health systems and health outcomes. Strong and sustained relationships with business partners are central to the Centre’s ability to grow its work, deliver meaningful programmes and maintain long-term impact. The role brings together two core areas: Programming and Operations, and Partner Development (sales) and Engagement (account management). It will support major Forum meetings and Centre-led convenings while serving as the Centre-side liaison with Forum teams responsible for partner development and industry engagement.
Reporting to the Lead, Operations and Strategy, the role sits within the Centre for Health and Healthcare and will be based in Geneva. It will work closely with the Centre Head, Partner Development, Industry and account management colleagues, initiative and project leads, and Forum teams responsible for programming and major meetings.
Programming and Operations Support major Centre programming across the year, including priority Forum meetings and Centre-led convenings such as the Annual Meeting and the Annual Health Roundtable, from planning through delivery and follow-up. Maintain clear visibility across assigned programming activity, including key dates, session concepts, review points, speaker and participant needs, decisions and delivery risks. Support the development of session objectives, formats, agendas, speaker and participant planning, briefing materials and other programme documents. Work with Forum programming, events, participant engagement, communications and relevant project teams on assigned programming deliverables and help resolve issues that could affect readiness or delivery. Maintain the practical tools, Salesforce information and materials needed to support assigned programming and partner-facing activity.
Serve as the Centre-side liaison with Partner Development Team, maintaining visibility on priority prospects and partnership opportunities and ensuring relevant Centre stakeholders understand acquisition status, next steps and required follow-up. Work closely with Industry and account management colleagues as the Centre-side point of connection for key business partners, helping ensure newly assigned partners receive a clear introduction to the Centre and are connected to relevant initiatives and programming. Monitor partner engagement across Centre initiatives and programming, using available engagement information to identify limited, declining or one-off participation and provide regular visibility to Centre leadership on engagement gaps, retention risks and actions requiring attention. Support retention and engagement planning by identifying opportunities to deepen partner involvement and coordinating Centre follow-up in close collaboration with the teams that own the partner relationship.
