The World Economic Forum in Geneva seeks a Senior Manager, Grants Governance and Compliance to lead governance, compliance standards and risk controls across externally funded grants. You will develop an organization-wide governance program, ensuring donor requirements and legal obligations are met, and advise on sanctions, data protection and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience in grants governance, legal and regulatory compliance, risk management, or related areas.
• Experience in a complex international nonprofit, multilateral, public sector or mission-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of grant agreements, donor requirements, governance frameworks and internal controls.
• Experience designing and implementing governance, compliance or risk management frameworks.
• Ability to assess legal, operational and reputational risks and provide guidance.
• Excellent judgement, discretion and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and strengthen grants governance framework, policies and standards.
• Define roles, responsibilities, approval pathways and delegated authorities across the grant lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment with donor requirements and legal/regulatory obligations.
• Provide guidance on governance requirements, risk mitigation and internal controls.
• Coordinate governance processes and manage governance bodies across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen governance processes, systems and reporting.
