World Economic Forum Geneva is seeking a Senior Manager, Grants Governance and Compliance to lead the governance framework for externally funded grants and related agreements. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and collaborates with Finance, Grant Operations, Donor Strategy and Initiative teams to ensure compliance and robust risk management across all grant activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in law, nonprofit management, compliance, governance or a related field.
• 12 years of relevant experience in grants governance, legal and regulatory compliance, risk management, audit, donor compliance, contracts or related disciplines.
• Experience operating within a complex international nonprofit, multilateral, public sector, academic, humanitarian or mission-driven organization.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional languages are an asset.

• Develop and maintain the grants governance framework, policies and standards across the organization.
• Oversee due diligence, compliance reviews and risk assessments for grants.
• Coordinate governance processes across legal, finance and program teams.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls and reporting.
