Job summary

The World Economic Forum Geneva seeks a Compliance Associate to support the Legal and Compliance team in assessing potential partners, vendors, grantors, awardees and other entities. You will help ensure relationships are reviewed consistently and in line with Forum standards before they are progressed, contributing to the overall Compliance program.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Legal Officer and interact with Business Engagement, Contract Management and Partner Development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field is required.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience in due diligence, compliance or risk.
• Experience with sanctions screening and adverse media research.
• Strong analytical, writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct due diligence reviews, including sanctions and adverse media screening.
• Analyse results from internal systems and databases, and resolve potential red flags.
• Prepare concise due diligence opinions and reports for senior Legal and Compliance review.
• Monitor due diligence requirements and escalate red flags to the Chief Legal Officer.
• Maintain accurate case records with supporting evidence and review dates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline due diligence processes.
• Support in developing and optimizing due diligence platforms and AI tools.
• Stay updated on AML, CTF, FCPA and sanctions frameworks.
• Provide expertise to implement Compliance program initiatives.
