Job summary

Finders SA in Geneva is seeking a Head of Finance to lead Finance, Accounting and Operations, overseeing financial reporting, regulatory obligations and treasury for a growing Swiss private banking entity. The role demands strategic oversight combined with hands-on execution in a small, entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in banking finance, experience as CFO/Head of Finance, and fluency in French and English. FINMA exposure is a plus. Full-time, on-site in Geneva.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within finance, accounting, controlling, risk management or regulatory reporting from within the banking sector.
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director or Senior Banking Finance Manager.
• Hands-on with daily financial and operational activities.
• Experience leading small teams across finance, accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team across Finance, Accounting and Operations.
• Ensure robust financial and accounting controls appropriate to the scale and complexity of the business.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, statutory accounts and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Monitor treasury activities, banking relationships and exposure limits.
• Maintain and enhance operational processes, controls and governance frameworks.
• Manage operational risk and oversight of credit, investment and business risks.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss banking regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate audit activities and implement audit recommendations.
• Prepare management reporting and Board documentation with senior leadership.
• Oversee HR administration, payroll and related social insurance matters.
• Lead strategic and regulatory projects as required.
