Siegfried AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced Engineering & Maintenance leader to define and execute the long-term site strategy. You will oversee budgets, capital projects, and automation while ensuring GMP, safety, and environmental compliance across facilities.

You will lead teams, collaborate with global functions, and drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-growing pharmaceutical CDMO environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Significant experience leading engineering and maintenance in chemical/pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven people management experience.
• Ability to collaborate across functions in international environment.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong GMP, asset reliability, and health & safety knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Define and manage budgets within your scope and the five-year capital investment plan.
• Oversee capital investment projects from requirements through commissioning and qualification.
• Ensure availability and capacity of facilities, equipment and utilities.
• Develop the maintenance strategy to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Optimize asset lifecycle costs and anticipate replacement needs.
• Define and implement the site's automation strategy.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop teams; coordinate external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, health, safety and environmental standards.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Site Head, with a functional reporting line to the Global Cluster Engineering & Maintenance Head, you will lead the site's engineering, maintenance and utilities activities.

You will define and implement the medium- and long-term roadmap in line with the site strategy. Together with your teams, you will ensure reliable, efficient operations that meet quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Define and manage budgets within your scope and the five-year capital investment plan.
• Oversee capital investment projects, from requirements definition through commissioning and qualification, ensuring delivery within budget, on schedule and in line with technical requirements.
• Ensure sufficient availability and capacity of facilities, equipment and utilities to meet operational needs.
• Develop the maintenance strategy to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Optimize asset lifecycle costs and anticipate replacement needs.
• Define and implement the site's automation strategy.
• Establish performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop teams, anticipate skills requirements and coordinate external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP requirements, and health, safety and environmental standards across all activities within your scope.
• Work closely with site functions and global teams to align priorities and support the site's industrial development.

Your Profile:

• Master's degree in engineering in a relevant technical discipline.
• Significant experience leading engineering and maintenance activities in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven people management experience and the ability to inspire and unite teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions in an international environment.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements, asset reliability, and health, safety and environmental standards.
