You will drive end-to-end data platform modernization, establish CI/CD, governance, and metadata frameworks, and build high-performing engineering teams to enable data-centric breakthroughs.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in software engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise data infrastructure.
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise data platforms or productized data systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Deep expertise with CI/CD and automated testing in production.
• Experience embedding governance, access control, lineage and compliance.
• Experience enabling AI use cases through well-designed data products and interfaces.
• Strong communication and senior stakeholder influencing skills.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute the vision, roadmap, and operating model for the Data Product Factory.
• Lead industrialization of scalable, production-grade data product engineering across Biomedical Research domains.
• Drive adoption of standardized engineering patterns, reusable blueprints, and contract-first design principles.
• Ensure AI-ready data products with standardized interfaces, metadata, and access controls.
• Lead modernization using automation-first and AI-native approaches.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of data products from build to deprecation.
• Establish and scale CI, CD, and DevOps across platforms.
• Embed governance, security, lineage, and policy-as-code into workflows.
• Build and lead high-performing engineering teams and drive excellence.
• Partner with domain/platform leaders to align business priorities with engineering delivery.
