SCOR seeks a Head of Data Engineering in Zürich to lead end-to-end data integration across enterprise systems and platforms, delivering scalable pipelines for analytics and AI. You will align business logic with technical implementations and govern data delivery.

You will manage cross-functional teams across domains, drive agile product-based delivery, improve data quality at source, and advance data engineering practices with agentic AI capabilities to accelerate delivery velocity.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a technical discipline (software engineering, engineering, mathematics, physics) or management with relevant technical expertise.
• Proven leadership experience directing engineering teams or large cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong track record designing and delivering large-scale data pipelines and integration architectures.

• Design and operate scalable data pipelines (batch, real-time, streaming) for analytics and AI use cases.
• Drive engineering excellence to ensure reliable, high-performance data pipelines.
• Bridge business logic, technical semantics, and system interoperability for governed data delivery.

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify and resolve data quality issues at source and embed quality requirements.
