MDPI AG in Basel invites a motivated Team Assistant to join the Growth team, supporting regional initiatives to raise visibility among universities, researchers, and academic organizations in the DACH region. This on-site role requires a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and strong coordination skills.

You will conduct research, maintain trackers, and help prepare region-specific digital content while communicating primarily in English, with German proficiency as well.

Qualifikationen

• Student status: currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Publishing, International Relations, or related field.
• Fluent in English (C1); German (C1) is required.
• Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; proactive and team‑oriented.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and track regional growth initiatives and digital activities.
• Conduct desk research on universities, research institutions, conferences, competitors, and trends in the DACH region.
• Maintain trackers, overviews, and simple reports on regional activities, timelines, and outcomes.
• Support region-specific digital content (newsletter inputs, website updates, scholar features, interviews).
• Research relevant scholarly conferences and compile event overviews (2027 and beyond).
• Perform coordinative and administrative tasks (scheduling, meeting notes, file maintenance) and support ad-hoc Growth projects.
