6 Degrees is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead day-to-day controlling, month-end close and management reporting across its hospitality portfolio in Switzerland. You will consolidate results from multiple outlets into a single, reconciled view and collaborate closely with Group Finance and outlet teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
We require 5–8 years of finance experience, with hands-on operational controlling, close, reconciliations and budgeting.
Our client is a well-established hospitality organisation, operating a portfolio of properties and further revenue streams. Due to a continued period of investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to support their Finance function. Location flexibility within Switzerland is required.
Reporting to the CFO, the role will be responsible for day-to-day controlling, month-end close, and management reporting across the business unit. Consolidating results from multiple outlet entities into a single, reconciled view is a core part of the mandate, with close collaboration expected across Group Finance and outlet operating teams. Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, and profitability analysis at outlet and segment level will also fall under this remit, alongside cost and labour controlling, procurement spend tracking, and oversight of internal control routines. The role carries responsibility for business unit overhead controlling, cross-entity benchmarking, and ownership of the consolidation calendar and reporting governance across properties and outlets. Supporting strategic and long-term business planning alongside the CFO, as well as contributing to systems and process improvement initiatives, is expected over time, and functional guidance will be provided to individual unit finance teams.
To be considered for the role, we are looking for 5-8 years of finance experience, including a meaningful period in an operational controlling role with hands‑on responsibility for close, reconciliations, and management reporting. Experience consolidating results across multiple entities or sites is important, with prior exposure to guiding junior finance staff considered an advantage. A background within hospitality is strongly preferred. A relevant finance, accounting, or economics degree is expected, and a professional qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) would be advantageous.
