Our client, a forward thinking and dynamic Hospitality organisation, is going through a period of exciting expansion and development. With an impressive portfolio they are well renowned throughout Switzerland and internationally. We are looking for an ambitious Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their Finance function. Location flexibility within Switzerland is required.
Reporting to the CFO, with a close working relationship to various other functions and key stakeholders, the role will be responsible for combining data and financial insight from across the business to shape strategic decisions and connect them to outcomes. Ownership of the long-range financial model sits at the core of the mandate, translating business strategy into targets, initiatives, and resource allocation, and stress-testing plans against alternative scenarios to quantify risk and opportunity. Leading finance-led improvement initiatives, tracking competitor and market intelligence to inform positioning, and building predictive models to flag workforce, capacity, and demand risks before they become costly are also central to the role. Real-time dashboards spanning cost, margin, headcount, and commercial performance will be built and maintained, with findings and recommendations presented clearly to leadership across Finance, HR, and Commercial functions. Standardising data across finance, people, and commercial systems, and ensuring governance and compliance standards are upheld across all data sources, is expected on an ongoing basis, alongside support for ad hoc analyses and board-level reporting.
To be considered for the role, we are looking for 3-7 years of experience across corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, or data and commercial analytics, ideally including exposure to strategic planning or investment analysis. A relevant degree in finance, business analytics, or a related field is expected, with an MBA or equivalent Master's considered an advantage. All applications are treated with complete confidentiality and are not forwarded to our client until candidates have been briefed.
