Landis+Gyr in Cham, near Zurich, seeks a highly motivated Head of Consolidation and Accounting to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for all entities. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain the consolidation framework, and supervise statutory and group statements.

You will coordinate intercompany reconciliation, interact with external auditors, and guide the finance team on complex transactions while driving process improvements and automation.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/Swiss) is an advantage.
• 10+ years of accounting, consolidation, and reporting experience.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation tools, especially IBM Cognos.
• Strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge and reporting experience.
• Ability to translate complex data for management.
• Fluent in English; German skills beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation for all entities.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and quality management information.
• Maintain and improve accounting/reporting framework for compliance.
• Supervise statutory and consolidated financial statements and deadlines.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation and reporting alignment.
• Serve as key contact for external auditors and advise finance teams.
• Develop accounting policies, process docs, and internal controls; support CFO.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplification.
• Lead, coach, and develop the consolidation team.
