Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. is seeking a QA professional for the Small Molecules area in Visp, Switzerland. You will ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing and support quality processes across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with production units, regulatory alignment, and customer-facing quality activities. Fluency in German and English and GMP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacy or similar).
• GMP knowledge and experience in chemical manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong communication in German and English required.
• Ownership mindset with structured working style and customer/team focus.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and align with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing complies with the process registered with health authorities.
• Monitor compliance with quality agreements with international customers.
• Build and maintain reliable relationships with customers to meet quality expectations.
• Independently review batch-related manufacturing documentation for GMP compliance.
• Support, assess, and approve Deviations, Change Requests, and CAPA actions.
• Contribute to quality risk assessments and Quality Review Reports.
• Conduct internal audits and support customer audits and regulatory inspections.
