Job summary

Lonza Visp, Switzerland, seeks a Senior QA Specialist, Quality Systems, to support the quality management system and participate in audits. You will collaborate with multiple functions to harmonize QMS topics and drive improvement of quality processes. The role requires GMP experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Chemistry/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in GMP environment and manufacture of Drug Products is required.
• Customer complaint management experience and Quality Council preparation are a must.
• Quality escalation management and deviation trending are essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
• Structured, self-driven and precise working style.

Responsibilities

• Support oversight of the quality management system (QMS) at Lonza Visp site.
• Generate and maintain compliant reports and trends for KPIs (non-conformities, CAPAs, changes, training).
• Assist in implementing corporate documents at local level.
• Collaborate with departments to harmonize QMS topics across the site.
• Identify and manage QMS projects as required for the Visp site.
• Participate in audits and inspections and follow-up actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location:

the actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior QA Specialist (f/m/d) Quality Systems for our biggest site in Switzerland, in Visp. In this role you are responsible for supporting the oversight of the quality management system and will interact with many different business functions.

• Generating and maintaining accurate reports of compliance activities and documents, including trending of key quality indicators, e.g for non-conformities, CAPAs, changes, training status, among others.
• Supporting implementation of corporate documents at local level.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure harmonization throughout the site on QMS related topics.
• Identifying and managing projects that focus on QMS needs, as required at Lonza Visp Site.
• Active participation in audits and inspections as well as follow-ups.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
