Job summary

Lonza in Visp, Switzerland is seeking a QC Project Lead (m/f/d) to join the Quality Control team. You will be the QC representative in cross-functional project teams, coordinating activities and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while adapting to changing priorities.

The role requires a master’s or PhD in life sciences, GMP experience, strong planning, and fluency in German and English. MS Office and LIMS/TrackWise knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related life science
• GMP regulatory environment experience beneficial
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to manage priorities
• Clear communication in German and English
• Collaborative, customer-oriented approach and cross-functional work
• Independent decision making and ownership of QC activities
• Experience with MS Office; knowledge of Documentum, LIMS or TrackWise advantageous
• Problem solving with thorough, delivery-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Represent QC in cross-functional project teams and coordinate QC activities
• Act as primary QC contact for projects and customers
• Plan and oversee QC activities supporting production campaigns
• Coordinate and schedule tasks across analytical labs according to project needs
• Process change requests and deviations per GMP requirements
• Coordinate QC input for customer audits and inspections
• Monitor QC project costs and support cost-efficient delivery
• Collaborate with Program Management, Process Development, Manufacturing and QA to adapt plans
