Job summary
agap2 is seeking an automation consultant to support pharmaceutical and biotech clients on site in a GMP-regulated environment. You will design, implement and validate automation solutions across PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES systems, collaborating with engineering, production and quality teams.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in GMP pharma or life sciences, a relevant degree, and strong troubleshooting and English communication skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or a related field.
- At least 2 years of GMP-regulated pharma/biotech life science experience.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES or OT networks.
- Knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5 and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement automation solutions in GMP environments.
- Configure and program PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS or MES systems.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot automation, control and network issues.
- Develop and improve automation standards, procedures and documentation.
- Support batch control, recipe management and process monitoring.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to delivery of pharma and biotech projects.
