Zusammenfassung

agap2 - HIQ Consulting in Basel is seeking an automation engineer to design, implement and qualify automation systems on client sites within GMP environments. You will work on PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS/MES configurations and collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams to deliver complex projects.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in GMP settings, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in English (German a plus).

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science environment.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES and OT networks.
• Knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.

Tasks

You will work on the design, implementation, qualification and improvement of automation systems in GMP-regulated environments. Depending on your background, your expertise may focus on PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES or industrial networks.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science environment.
• Professional experience with at least one of the following: PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES, industrial automation or OT networks.
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial communication technologies. Experience with one or more platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Emerson DeltaV or Syncade is an advantage.
• Understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a consulting and project-based environment.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.
