Job summary

agap2 - HIQ Consulting in Basel is seeking an automation engineer to design, implement and qualify automation systems on client sites within GMP environments. You will work on PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS/MES configurations and collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams to deliver complex projects.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in GMP settings, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in English (German a plus).

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science environment.
Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES and OT networks.
Knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
Good communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement automation solutions in GMP environments.
Contribute to the configuration and programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS or MES systems.
Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.
Develop and improve automation standards, procedures and technical documentation.
Support batch control, recipe management, data integrity and process monitoring activities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.
Contribute to the delivery of strategic pharmaceutical and biotech projects.
