Zusammenfassung

Source Group International seeks an experienced MES System Engineer to support manufacturing systems in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment. The role is a 1-year contract, on-site in Visp, with potential extension.

Responsibilities include maintaining MES architectures, enabling upgrades, validating systems, and ensuring data integrity across IT/OT and automation interfaces. Fluency in English and/or German is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in automation, IT, CS, electrical engineering or related field.
• Hands-on MES/Manufacturing IT/OT experience in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Experience with MES platforms such as PAS-X, Syncade, PharmaSuite, Opcenter or similar.
• Strong GMP, GAMP, GxP and CSV understanding.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, batch execution and electronic records.
• IT/OT infrastructure knowledge, industrial networking, VMware and servers.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP, historians and automation platforms.
• English and/or German language proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and improve MES systems, standards and architectures.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Support MES enhancements, upgrades, deployments and lifecycle activities.
• Maintain electronic batch records and manufacturing workflows.
• Prepare and review GxP documentation, risk assessments, testing docs, change controls and SOPs.
• Support commissioning, qualification and validation.
• Integrate MES with automation systems, historians, ERP and other apps.
• Collaborate with Automation, IT, Validation, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity and GMP compliance.
