Job summary

Burckhardt Compression AG in Switzerland seeks a Trade Compliance leader to drive the global strategy, policy framework, and governance for international trade. You will oversee export controls, sanctions, and ICP programs, partnering with Legal and senior management to mitigate risks.

The role requires 5–7 years in trade compliance within industrials, deep knowledge of EU/US regimes, and hands-on experience with SAP GTS or similar platforms. Hybrid working and global exposure offered.

Qualifications

• Proven record leading trade compliance in an industrial environment.
• Deep knowledge of EU Export Controls, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions, EAR.
• Experience implementing ICP and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously develop global Trade Compliance strategy and framework.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, embargoes and related regulations.
• Design, implement and govern the global Internal Compliance Program (ICP).
• Analyze business models and supply chains to assess trade compliance implications.
