Burckhardt Compression AG in Winterthur invites a seasoned Trade Compliance Lead to shape and drive our global compliance program. You will lead the development of strategies aligned with international trade requirements and oversee risk management across value chains.

In this hybrid role, you will manage audits, KPI reporting, and training programs, working with Legal and senior management to ensure adherence to EU and US regulations and to safeguard the company's global operations.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years leading Trade Compliance in industrial environments
• Expertise in EU Export Controls, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions, EAR
• Strong knowledge of customs, origin and preferential trade rules
• Experience implementing ICPs, audits, risk assessments, governance frameworks
• Proficient with SAP GTS or similar platforms such as AEB

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the company’s global Trade Compliance strategy and framework
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, embargoes and other trade regulations
• Design, implement and govern the global Internal Compliance Program (ICP) to identify and mitigate risks
• Analyze value chains and operating structures for compliance implications
• Review high-risk transactions with Legal and escalate as needed
• Manage global compliance audits, regulatory inspections and follow-up actions
• Define and monitor Trade Compliance KPIs, reporting structures and dashboards
• Act as Global Process Owner for Trade Compliance processes
• Review contracts and internal policies to mitigate foreign trade risks
• Develop and deliver global training programs on Trade Compliance
