Burckhardt Compression AG in Winterthur seeks a Global Trade Compliance Manager (80-100%) to lead the company’s international trade compliance strategy, align with business objectives, and drive governance across regions.

You will manage export controls, sanctions, and ICP, review high‑risk transactions, oversee audits, and develop KPIs while partnering with Legal and senior management; English fluent, German preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years of leadership in trade compliance in an industrial environment.
• Expertise EU Export Controls, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions, and EAR.
• Strong knowledge of customs, origin, and preferential trade regulations.
• Experience with Internal Compliance Programs (ICP), audits, risk assessments, and governance.
• Proficient in SAP GTS or similar platforms (AEB).
• Proficient in English, fluent in German.

Aufgaben

• Lead and continuously develop the global Trade Compliance strategy and framework.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, embargos, and other trade regulations.
• Design, implement, and govern the ICP to identify and mitigate trade compliance risks.
• Analyze business models and value chains to assess compliance implications and establish policies.
• Review high-risk transactions and coordinate escalation with Legal and senior management.
• Manage global compliance audits, inspections, and follow-up actions.
• Define and monitor Trade Compliance KPIs, reporting structures, and dashboards.
• Act as Global Process Owner for Trade Compliance processes.
• Review contracts and policies advising on mitigating foreign trade risks.
• Develop and deliver global training programs.
